This privately owned company is engaged in the book publishing business. The company was established in March of 2003 and has its registered office in Barcelona, Spain. It specializes in publishing collectibles in Spain and the Latin American markets through its branches in Argentina, Brazil, Colombia and Mexico and in Europe (France, Greece, United Kingdom, Italy, Poland and Portugal). The distribution of collectible works is carried out mainly via the newsstand channel, the second channel being direct marketing and the Internet. The company company is the leader in the publishing of collectible works and comics for the newsstand channel. It distributes comics and manga under the name Planeta DeAgostini Comics. Comics are also distributed via specialized bookshops and the Internet.
