The company, with headquarters in Barcelona, is a chemical company that is engaged in the distribution (logistics, commercial and technical assessment) of chemical products for the general industry. The company started its business when Ramón Massó established his first company to supply dyestuffs and auxiliaries to the textile industry, it began a long family tradition in the chemical industry. Since then, Juan Massó and his sons Juan Antonio and José Luís have developed and expanded the original concept and in 1960 they founded the company. The company commercialized products manufactured by group of companies. The company provides material, logistics and technical support, and marketing if the customer requires it. The company is composed of human team specialized in each business area or department (coordinated in groups) which holds itself on general services (administration, finances, logistics, computer systems, among others). The company is made up of four great commercial divisions, each one devoted to a specific sector. Each sales department, as business area, represents the corresponding sector defending the interests of each one of its principals and offering service to the customers at the same time. The company distributes products for industrial chemistry, agriculture, food, rubber, ceramic, consumption, cosmetics, pharmacy, environmental and personal hygiene, gardening, lubricant, microelectronics, paper, paint and ink, plastic, surface coatings and polyurethanes, environmental health, textile, veterinary and glass industries. Comercial Quimica Masso operates mainly in Spain and Portugal, with subsidiaries in France, Italy, India and China. It also has branch offices in Czech Republic, Hungary and Poland.
