The company is engaged in the manufacture and trade of alcohol and other disinfecting products. Its business was founded in 1889, and was established by Jaume Prunés Font. The company has a registered head office based in Barcelona, Spain. The company operates in two business categories: industrial distribution; and parapharmacy laboratory. The industrial distribution's main activity focuses on the distribution and marketing of ethyl alcohol (Alcohol 96 percent, Alcohol 99 percent, distilled, unmatured brandy, and Holandas), as well as production of mixtures and other products including IPA, methanol, ethyl acetate and Mosstanol 120 for clients in various sectors and industries, such as chemical, medicines, cleaning, perfumes, paints, inks and varnishes, car industry, cosmetics, pharmacy, and graphic arts. The parapharmacy laboratory caters to the production, packing and distribution of disinfectants (alcohol, hydrogen peroxide, and povidone iodine); pesticides (repellent of insects, lotion and shampoo anti-louses,lice repellent): sanitary (contact lenses cleaner, and physiological solution); cosmetics (almonds oil, aloe vera oil, Rosehips oil, nail polish remover, aloe vera body lotion, and Rosehip body lotion ); and hand disinfection (alcohol in gel and solution). These products have further usage and applications include skin disinfection, cosmetic medicine, nail polish, aerosols, antifreezes, window cleaners, cleaning products, car polisher, varnish and wood protectors, print inks, leather treatments, as well as enamel and paints. The company operates distribution offices in Spain and Portugal.
