Educational support activities
The company is a joint stock firm primarily engaged in book publishing activities. The company was established in 1994, and has its registered head office in Barcelona, Spain. The company publishes educational materials for all the Spanish autonomous regions under four different names: Castellnou Edicions, Almadraba Editorial, Castellnou Editora Valenciana and Biblioteca Hermes. Its educational materials include revision and further study materials, reading materials, teaching guides, CD's, and teacher resource files, among others. The company aims to attain the educational development of the student through the development of basic skills in all areas, such as linguistic, mathematics, scientific, social and artistic in agreement with the stages and educational cycles; through the progressive inclusion of information technology and communication to a level where the student can use them naturally; and through the acquisition of social and environmental responsibilities.
