It was founded in 1941 by Dr. Vicens Marque¨s i Bertran as Sanatorio Maternal. Since then, it has grown to become one of the top IVF (vitro fertilization) clinics worldwide. Every year, hundreds of patients come to its center from abroad hoping to achieve a pregnancy, mainly through IVF with egg and/or semen donation.
