The group specializes in providing shipping agency services to liner and tramp vessels in Spain. It was founded in 1810 in Barcelona by Daniel Ripoll y Cía. as a shipping agent. Its corporate office is located in Barcelona, Spain. The group includes 35 companies, among fully-owned and participated, involved in national and international trade, offering main services in the areas of shipping, customs, logistics and forwarding. Through its network of owned agencies and sub-agencies in all major Spanish ports, it provides a comprehensive range of maritime services that can meet the differing needs of a wide variety of customers such as ship-owners, charterers, forwarders, traders, importers and exporters. Most of the companies of the group have already achieved, or are in the process of achieving, ISO 9001:2000 certificates for their processes. The group's main objective is to act as a partner to its clients, fulfilling their expectations and anticipating to their needs.
